• Vision & Goals: To design and execute a five-day program, blending memorable VIP activities with uniquely themed patriotic evening events and experiences that celebrated America’s pastime.

Design & Theme Inspiration
The program design drew inspiration from two of San Diego’s historic landmarks. At Lane Field Park, the event celebrated the site’s legacy as the Padres’ first MLB stadium with a baseball-themed reception. Later in the week, guests stepped aboard the USS Midway Aircraft Carrier for a patriotic, vintage-inspired evening, set against the backdrop of the iconic flight deck.

Challenges & Solutions: Executing events across two historic venues presented unique challenges that required careful planning and creative problem-solving.

• Lane Field Park: As a public space, the venue required multiple layers of permitting and compliance. Additionally, our team arranged fencing to maintain controlled access, and developed detailed diagrams to meet fire safety regulations while ensuring clear fire lanes.

• USS Midway Aircraft Carrier: Hosting an event aboard the iconic ship required intricate coordination with vendors due to strict load-in limitations. All equipment and rentals had to be transported to the flight deck via a service elevator, which demanded precise scheduling and a staggered vendor plan to ensure efficiency without delays.

Through proactive communication, detailed planning, and strong vendor partnerships, our team successfully navigated both venues’ limitations—transforming two complex spaces into seamless, engaging experiences for attendees.

Leviosa delivered a multi-day experience that balanced exclusive VIP activities with immersive themed receptions. Memorable highlights included:

• Baseball-Themed Reception

  • Baseball-inspired centerpieces and décor that honored Lane Field park’s MLB history

  • A fast pitch and other lawn games invited friendly competition among attendees

  • A Tap Truck serving refreshments in true ballpark fashion, surrounded by custom branded cocktail tables

• USS Midway Aircraft Carrier Evening

  • USO actors greeted guests with vintage candy, live music, and private docent-led tours that brought history to life

  • Patriotic décor: Red, white, and blue linens paired with ammo box floral centerpieces, and aviation lounge vignettes.

• VIP Activities

  • A private Limoncello-making class paired with a historical tour of San Diego’s Little Italy district, Whale Watching and go-karting experience, offered guests interactive options outside of the evening receptions.

• Corporate Social Responsibility

  As part of the program, we supported a meaningful CSR activity at a local Veterans Home. Leviosa coordinated transportation logistics and provided on-site amenities to ensure a smooth and comfortable experience for all participants. Guests had access to staffed break stations stocked with snacks and water, EMT medical station, along with additional portable restrooms for convenience—allowing attendees to focus fully on giving back while connecting with the local community.

The result was a program that honored San Diego’s history while providing dynamic, engaging experiences. Every detail was designed to immerse attendees in a celebration of America’s pastime and San Diego’s military legacy, leaving a lasting impression.
