From Gilligan to Beach Boys:
A Retro Beach Bash

4 day program.

325 Guests.

4 exclusive vip activities.

    • Location: Hotel Del Coronado, San Diego

    • # of Guests: 325

    • Services Requested: Exclusive VIP activities, decor and themed evening events, transportation, and hospitality desk staff.

    • Purpose & Big Picture: design a four-day program that celebrated the historic beachside hotel that immersed guests in exclusive VIP activities and uniquely themed evening events, supported with seamless hospitality and transportation services.

  • Design & Theme: From the first spark of inspiration to the final detail, our team curated a program that leaned into the hotel’s coastal charm while delivering innovative, one-of-a-kind experiences. From a Gilligan’s Island welcomes to retro surf culture celebrations, every detail highlighted the destination while offering fresh, exclusive experiences for a repeat client.

    • Gilligan’s Island: Guests were welcomed into island-inspired setting featuring jute and palm linens with tropical centerpieces, a bamboo tiki bar accented with nautical buoys and fishnets, and an entrance framed by palms and glowing lanterns.

    • Retro Beach Bash: Every corner of the space leaned into the surf-era vibe, with thematic décor elements including woody miniature cars topped with surfboards, a playful beach ball wall, vintage-colored striped accents, and lifeguard towers and décor framing the event perimeter.

Challenges & Solutions: Creating activities that felt brand new for long-time visitors. By thinking outside the box, we introduced creative VIP options and paired them with immersive, local experiences that fully embraced the laid-back yet lively San Diego atmosphere, such as an exclusive behind the scenes tour of Padres Stadium followed by a private distillery tour & tasting.

  • The program came to life with unforgettable highlights and thoughtful touches that elevated every moment:

    Gilligan’s Island Welcome Reception:

    • Complete with a live steel drum band, Gilligan and Ginger lookalike actors, and branded skipper and captain hats for guests to wear, this kickoff event set the tone for fun and creativity.

    Activities & Community Give Back

    • Beyond the themed evening events, guests enjoyed a variety of curated daytime activities that showcased the San Diego destination and encouraged connection. Options ranged from deep sea fishing trips, golf along the coast at a premier local course, to a behind-the-scenes private tour of San Diego’s MLB ballpark and local bourbon distillery.

    • As part of the program, we supported a CSR initiative at a local YMCA. Leviosa coordinated transportation and provided on-site amenities to ensure the success of the activity. Guests had access to staffed break stations stocked with snacks and water, as well as portable restrooms for comfort throughout the day. This meaningful experience not only gave back to the community but also provided attendees with a rewarding way to connect beyond the event.

    Retro Beach Bash Network Dinner:

    • Featuring a Beach Boys tribute band, a vintage Volkswagen photo bus driven onto the sand, and a lively beachfront vibe, this evening transported guests back to the golden age of surf culture. A custom-built sand sculpture featuring the company’s logo became both a showstopping centerpiece and an unforgettable photo op. The Shoe Valet Station encouraged true barefoot-in-the-sand enjoyment, allowing guests to leave their shoes behind.

The result was a program that felt fresh, exclusive, and celebratory—blending entertainment, creativity, and authentic local flavor into four days of unforgettable experiences.
